Competitor Analysis

The only option for modifying ceramic parts post-sintering is machining them. This is subject to several limitations and is very expensive.

Market Strategy

Solid-state batteries are already advantageous in terms of safety and efficiency over other types of batteries using liquid electrolytes. Superplastic deformation of certain ceramic systems that already exhibit perfect electrochemical properties for solid-state battery electrodes can expand the scope of battery technology. Superplastic deformation can be introduced in solid-state battery electrodes to achieve unique battery geometries and form factors previously limited by the brittle nature of ceramics. However, since our ceramic is a relatively novel material and superplasticity of ceramics is a newly discovered phenomenon, more research needs to be conducted in this field. Our work prepares the foundation for further exploring the deformation in ceramics, specifically in battery technology.
